The Denver Mint offers a free 45 minute tour.
Reservations are required and you must present a confirmation number to enter the tour. Space is limited and fills up quickly. Go to the mint’s website to create a reservation.
Established in 1863, the U.S. Mint of Denver produces 50 million coins a day, each one stamped with a little ‘D’.
Guided tours start on the hour and are available from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Thursday.
Tours are recommended for children 7 years of age and older.
*Note: Please be aware that coin production schedules vary and therefore there may be times when coins are not being produced during the time of your tour. Tours may be canceled without prior notice.
