Resource guide for grandparents and their families
The heartfelt comedy Real Women Have Curves centers on five full-figured Latina employees in a sewing factory in East L.A. as they work to deliver an impossible order in one week to save their business. A celebration of real women with real bodies working together, the story is told from the viewpoint of Ana, a young Mexican-American teen yearning to go to college and become a journalist. Along the way, she navigates issues of self-image while talking with her co-workers about their lives, fears and deepest desires.
