My Nature Lab-Tracks and Scat

Rain, Snow, or Shine!  We will meet at the Lab to explore animal tracks and scat as well as other wildlife sign.  During this 90 minute class, we will learn the difference between mammal and bird sign as well as learn to identify what animal was there.  If conditions allow, we will also make casts of animal tracks for you to take home. Fees for this class are $30 for members and $35 for non-members and include supplies for making track casts.

My Nature Lab, is a hands-on space where you can explore the natural world around us. My Nature Lab has reptiles, from local to exotic, where you will be taught by a professional biologist about their nature, habitat, and life. In the lab you will have opportunities to see the animals up close, ask questions to an expert, and even hold some in your hands. Our focus is conservation through education and we invite you to join us in bringing about positive change through a better understanding of our natural world.
