Resource guide for grandparents and their families
ADULTS ONLY
A southern story doesn’t normally follow a straight line to the end point. Jewboy of the South is no exception. It is the dark yet redemptive story of a small-town southern Jewish boy’s harrowing and often hilarious coming of-age. Meet the author, Don Koplen, who was born in 1947 in Danville, Virginia, a textile mill and tobacco market city of 50,000 mainly Baptists and 100 Jewish families. Copies of the book are available at the Temple Emanuel library or through an online bookstore. In partnership with Temple Emanuel.
