Making Technology Accessible to Post-Millenials…

“Hey, Siri…” Do these words make you shudder?

ColoradoGrandparent.com and The Jewish Experience are offering a two- session technology workshop that is geared towards mature adults who get overwhelmed when using technology and would like to learn more about using smartphones, tablets and other devices. The “Home Stream Home” event will consist of two sessions. The first session will discuss “Cutting the Cable Cord: how and why people are cancelling cable and why it can save money. We’ll also review the devices required to stream your favorite TV shows and movies.

The second session will cover advanced streaming options including streaming music and radio apps. We will discuss streaming options using smart home devices such as “smart plugs” and the artificial intelligence (A.I.) assistants Alexa, Siri or Google Home. Taught by GroovyTek, friendly, jargon-free instructors, who will gracefully guide you through the digital divide.
