Want to show your true motivation and dedication in our toughest competition yet? Test your mettle this year with the Rippetoe Rucksack Challenge. Bring a 25-pound ruck or backpack to the event and race against some of Denver’s toughest competitors on the 10K route. Rippetoe Rucksack Challenge champion will be awarded a special prize.
This competition is in honor of Army Capt. Russell B. Rippetoe, who attended Metro State College in Denver and ROTC. A member of the 75th Ranger Regiment, he was killed in action on April 3, 2003 serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Read More >
