Get your costumes ready. Colorado’s premier pop-culture fan experience is set to launch June 17-19, 2016, in The Mile High City.
Denver Comic Con (DCC) is a three-day, family-friendly fan convention featuring the best in comics, along with popular sci-fi and fantasy TV shows, movies, Japanese animation, cosplay (fan-created costumes and costumed skits), toys, gaming and celebrity panel presentations. STAR-STUDDED LINEUP
Now in its fifth year, the event features its strongest guest lineup so far. Look for Stan Lee, legendary Marvel Comics writer and producer known for “Iron Man,” “Fantastic Four,” “Hulk,” “Spider-Man,” “Thor” and “X-Men”; Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley from “The Vampire Diaries”; Ralph Macchio of “Karate Kid” and “The Outsiders”; and many, many more. ‘STAR TREK’ CELEBRATION
Denver Comic Con will also be celebrating the 50th anniversary of “Star Trek.” Guests will include John DeLancie (Q) from “Star Trek: Next Generation” and Garrett Wang (Ensign Kim) from “Star Trek: Voyager.” Also, DCC attendees will have the opportunity to see Manu Intiraymi (Icheb) from “Star Trek: Voyager.” He will announce his planned anthology film which will featuring fan-inspired stories gathered from 50 years of Star Trek conventions.
Popular anime voice actors Vic Mignogna (Naruto Shippuden) and Todd Haberkorn (Sgt. Frog) will screen and discuss the sixth episode of their award-winning series “Star Trek Continues,” which picks up the adventures of the crew of the Starship Enterprise after the show’s cancellation in 1969.
Also, the fan-favorite YouTube series “Trekyards” will be in attendance, filming new episodes and bringing surprise guests of their own.
