Resource guide for grandparents and their families
For 65 years, children have been captivated by the courageous adventures of Thomas and his engine friends.
A Day Out With Thomas is an exciting way for children and grown-ups to enter the world of Thomas & Friends™. The event provides an opportunity for kids to ride onboard a train led by Thomas and have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas’ railway. Thomas the Tank Engine will speak when the train arrives and departs from the boarding area.
Admission includes access to Museum exhibits and model trains, and special DOWT activities, including a petting zoo, temporary tattoo station, Imagination Station (train table play area), live sing-a-longs and magic shows, and new area with a bean bag toss, hula hoops and bubbles.
