Concerts at the Crescent

Concerts at the Crescent takes place on Tuesday eveningsfrom June 5 through August 7 at the Crescent Amphitheater. Bring your friends, family and a picnic dinner. New this year: SugarDash, a dessert food truck will be on site each week. The park opens at 5 p.m. The FREE concerts start at 7 p.m., ending around 8:30 p.m. For a map to the venue, scroll to the bottom of the post. Here’s the 2018 schedule:
July 24 — Funkiphino-Bring on the Funk! The 13 members of Funkiphino infuse explosive horn lines, old-school
Hammond organ sounds, and pumpin’ bass with intoxicating vocal harmonies. The funky,
high-energy band is guaranteed to deliver as how that has you grooving the night away.
July 31 — The Long Run-The Long Run band is a fully committed Eagles cover band. Laden with four and five part harmonies, they reproduce the Eagles’ hits with an organic 70s sound, accurate lead guitarists, multi-instrumentalists and a lead-singing drummer.
August 7 — Syndicate-This band’s youthful appeal offers a burst of energy and contagious enthusiasm for any event. Listen and dance to up-tempo favorites by: The Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga, 80’s jukebox favorites or music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Syndicate creates the hottest contemporary mix of music.
Crescent Amphitheater is at DTC Blvd. at Belleview Ave., located east of YaYa’s Euro Cafe.
