The Gardens on Havana retail complex (home to Kohl’s, Sprouts, Ulta and Target) has a garden, a rose garden, to be exact, in the back row of stores just south of Dick’s Sporting Goods and Maurice’s. It hosts a FREE summer community concert series from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your non-alcoholic drinks. The 2018 schedule:
May 29 — 17th Avenue All Stars
The 17th Avenue Allstars are celebrating their 27th year as one of Denver, Colorado’s top musical acts singing contemporary a cappella. The Allstars have performed across the United States and opened for National Acts such as: BB King, The Temptations, Dave Mason, Mel Torme, and Robert Cray. The Allstars were named the official anthem singers of the Denver Broncos. Their wide range of a cappella performances include shows for US Presidents and Governers, corporate events and product launches, outdoor festivals and concerts and large charitable fundraisers.
From the Doo-Wop favorites of the 50’s to Contemporary A Cappella covers; straight ahead rock tunes or a cappella vocal jazz. The 17th Avenue Allstars play list includes music from Sly & The Family Stone, Journey, Kenny Loggins, the B-52’s, Paul Suimon, Meghan Trainor, Sara Barielles, and everything in between.

June 26 — Tunisia (The first 400 concert attendees get to sample hoagie sandwiches for FREE from several On Havana Street Restaurants, courtesy of the Havana Business Improvement District. On Havana Street has purchased hoagies from Chick Fil A, Jimmy Johns, Safeway Deli, Subway, Jersey Mike’s and Honey Baked Ham — so come hungry!)
July 24 — Dotsero (FREE pizza)
August 21 — The Byron Shaw Projex – an evening of R&B, soul & reggae. (The first 400 people in attendance will receive a FREE ice cream, frozen yogurt or frozen custard sundae courtesy of On Havana Street.)
