Celebrate Japanese-American culture, food, music, crafts and dance at Denver’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival, Saturday & Sunday, June 18 & 19. FREE performances start each day at 11 a.m. and include martial arts, folk dancing, Japanese drumming, Japanese Enka (traditional) songs, and lots more. A selection of arts and crafts vendors will have you browsing through vintage kimono, handmade jewelry, Asian-inspired pottery, books and anime, dolls, fine art, Hawaiian goods and more. Among the treats for purchase: teriyaki, egg rolls, somen, sushi, sake and beer. The festival is staged between Lawrence & Larimer and 19th & 20th Streets in Downtown Denver.
Cherry Blossom Festival events include everything from singing or martial arts to the ever popular Taiko drumming.
Main Stage events are performed on the Lawrence and 20th Street side of the Festival.
