Spirit of Freedom tells the story of Irish independence, beginning 100 years ago with the Easter Rising. Akin to America’s 4th of July, the Easter Rising of 1916 created the Ireland we know and love today. The Irish embrace their musical culture like no other nation and their pride in artistry is its own reward. Through music, song, dance, and storytelling, Celtic Nights honors the struggle of a people fighting to gain freedom, independence, and true democracy. Celtic Nights is made up of three male vocalists and three beautiful female singers, six of Ireland’s most talented and coveted international dancers, and some of the finest Celtic musicians you will ever see. These superb performers honor their rich heritage by carrying on the Celtic traditions of song and dance. Enda Kenny, the Prime Minister of Ireland commended them by saying, “Irish artists such as Celtic Nights have brought our distinctive and evolving music and dance tradition to the world stage and showcase our tradition in spectacular fashion.”
