The revelation that Barbra Streisand built her own private shopping mall in the basement of her Malibu mansion — complete with a doll shop, vintage clothing atelier and candy store (seriously, Google search this madness) — has inspired many reactions, but none quite as ingenious as Buyer & Cellar. Follow struggling thespian Alex as he takes a job as the sole employee of Streisand’s wonder emporium in this fictional one-man show of surprising depth and heart, when this off-Broadway hit comes to Denver’s John Hand Theatre.
