Wings Over The Rockies, with support from the National Museum of World War II Aviation, presents Blue Star Weekend, a special Mother’s Day event honoring veterans and mothers of veterans.
Tour and/or fly in EAA’s B-17G Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast,” one of the few remaining airworthy B-17s from WWII.
Get up-close with classic warbirds such as: P-51 Mustang, B-25 Mitchell, T-6 Texan, C-45 Expediter, Boeing Stearman, NA-50
Get inside the Rocky Mountain Chapter’s VHPC Traveling Vietnam Museum
Hear pilot briefings and veterans’ stories planeside
Experience kiddie airport and pedal planes
See WWII re-enactors

Blue Star Mother’s Day Brunch
Sunday, May 8 | 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Enjoy a brunch on Mother’s Day with your family. The menu includes scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, buttermilk pancakes, cinnamon rolls, Florentine quiche, locally roasted coffee, organic teas and hot chocolate.
A portion of proceeds from our Mother’s Day brunch will be given to the Blue Star Mothers. Discounts for Mother’s Day brunch are available to Wings Members.
