See a shortened version of the ballet followed by a Cinderella Tea Party. Ballet alone, $15 adult, $10 children. Ballet and tea party, $25 adult, $20 children.
Ballet Ariel will once again delight audiences of all ages with two performances of A Little Cinderella with Tea Party, February 25th and 26th at the Cleo Parker Robinson Theatre.
Ballet Ariel has abbreviated its full-length Cinderella just for little audience members treating them to a perfect afternoon of magic and wonder. Little hearts will be spellbound as the flower fairies dance with the coachmen, elegant ladies waltz and Cinderella captivates Prince Charming. Ever hopeful, the wicked stepsisters carry on wildly in a vain attempt to entice the Prince but they are no match for Cinderella’s charm and grace.
Like the full-length ballet, A Little Cinderella is performed to Sergei Prokofiev’s entrancing score. The original choreography by Ballet Ariel Director Ilena Norton is sophisticated, dynamic and entertaining yet engaging for guests of any age. Collaborating choreographers, Oleg Dedogryuk and Gregory Gonzales, contribute dances in their unique styles, perfectly complimenting Norton’s classically beautiful style.
Following the two performances of A Little Cinderella on February 25 and 26, children and adults can join the dancers on stage for an enchanted tea party complete with tea, tea sandwiches and pastries. Joined by Cinderella, Prince Charming and other costumed characters, who will be available for pictures and autographs, this is a magical treat little ones won’t want to miss.
Ballet Ariel will also perform the full length Cinderella at the PACE Center on Thursday, March 16th and A Little Cinderella at the D.L. Parsons Theatre at the Northglenn Recreation Center on Sunday, March 20th.
