The Downtown Denver Partnership is pleased to produce the 45th Annual 9NEWS Parade of Lights, presented by American Furniture Warehouse and Ent Credit Union.
The two-mile parade route in Downtown Denver is the stage for Colorado’s brightest holiday tradition. This FREE holiday spectacular features more than 40 units including extravagantly illuminated floats, giant helium-filled character balloons, magnificent marching bands, traditional equestrian units and vibrant cultural entries. And of course, a special appearance by Major Waddles the Penguin and Santa! Grab your hot chocolate and ear-muffs, this year is going to be better than ever!
The 9NEWS Parade of Lights, presented by American Furniture Warehouse and ENT Credit Union, steps off the City & County Building at 14th Avenue & Bannock Street, crosses Colfax Avenue, travels west on 14th Street, turns right on Tremont Place and goes three blocks to 17th Street. The parade travels down 17th Street on Arapahoe Street and turns left, making another left turn on 15th Street and continuing on 15th Street up to Glenarm Place. The parade turns right on Glenarm Place and finishes at 14th Street & Glenarm Place.
